INTERNATIONAL THESPIAN SOCIETY
"Act well your part; there all the honor lies." ~ Alexander Pope
The International Thespian Society, or ITS, is the Educational Theatre Association’s student honorary organization, recognizing the achievements of high school and middle school theatre students. Since 1929, EdTA has inducted more than 2 million Thespians into ITS, and there are troupes in more than 4,000 high schools and middle schools. Check out some distinguished ITS alumni. For more information, visit the ITS website.
Eligibility Requirements: Students must obtain a total of 10 Thespian points to become eligible for membership. Points are awarded for performing in shows, working tech, and other various thespian activities.
